We went trick or treating at Alice May's and Alice's. Sweet Alice May spoiled the children with rings that lit up and squishy spiders - they were a hit! Alice gave us lots of candy, which the children loved, too. After church, we stopped by our Hazelwood Drive neighbor's homes - we saw the Bairds, Whites, and Brownings. We also trick or treated at our former home, which was weird and special all at the same time.

Trick or treating in the Grove
Several Mississippi cities, including Jackson, are trick or treating tonight instead of Halloween because, this year, Halloween falls on a Sunday. So, the higher ups at Ole Miss decided it would be fun for the children to trick or treat in the Grove. Jane Gray, Charlie, and Meg were all for that! They loved trick or treating in the Grove and got lots of candy! In the last Grove picture, Meg scored a whole bag of candy corn! We had fun at the game, too. There was a double flyover, which the children loved, and a 3-D presentation, which Charlie particularly loved. He was so overcome with excitement that he fell asleep shortly after it!

Andersons' Halloween party
We went to the Andersons' house this afternoon for their annual Halloween party. It was fun, as always, and as is usually the case, the children loved playing all over Dr. Anderson's jeep. This year, the children also enjoyed chasing each other with Whit's guns - several (including Jane Gray and Charlie) have guns in their hands in this picture.

Trunk or treat
We trunk or treated at Grandpa's church tonight. The kids got lots of candy and enjoyed being together. Meg and Ella were so cute on the jumpyland, and Meg really loved the cupcake walk. We ran into Dr. Kellum (the gorilla) and had to get a picture with him - he delivered Charlie and Meg. We also got a cute picture with Nana and Grandpa and the whole crew!

Caston's Creek
We spent the day at Caston's Creek, the Montgomerys' and Sheppards' deer camp. We cooked out hot dogs and hamburgers, went swinging on the rope swing (you can hardly see Jane Gray and Charlie - they were so high!), rode on a hay ride (Meg drove the tractor with Mr. Montgomery), picked BIG pumpkins, decorated the pumpkins, and enjoyed a pumpkin pinata. It was a fun day!
