New Year's Eve

We celebrated New Years Eve with the Adams and Andersons. The Adams' neighbors shot some amazing fireworks! Later, while the parents were playing wii bowling, Meg and Audrey snuck off to put makeup on. Those two are so funny together!

Lunch with "old" friends

One of the best parts of Christmas break is being with "old" friends. Today, we ate lunch with the Eisenhauers, Jacksons, and Browns.

Party in Charlie's room

The kids have gotten pretty creative during their Christmas break. They planned a big "lights" party in Charlie's room replete with sprites, snacks, and lots of flashlights and glow sticks. This was one of the signs they made for the party.

Post-Christmas fun

We have had so much fun playing with our new Christmas toys. We have played lots of Life and Clue, and in these pictures, the girls and Sayley are having a blast with our new Wii game, Kids Dance!

Visit with Dicey

We stopped by Dicey's on our way home and wished her a Merry Christmas.

Christmas in Yazoo City

After church, we went to Yazoo City to celebrate Christmas with Pop. We opened our stockings first. Pop lined the grandchildren up by age; Meg was at the front of the line. Charlie loved the apples in his stocking so much that he bit right into one. Daddy joked that that was a first for the Barbours! After stockings, we opened presents and then ate a big Christmas lunch.

Merry Christmas from the Barbours

Here is our family Christmas picture.

Nana and Grandpa

Nana and Grandpa came by to see what the children received for Christmas.

Opening Christmas presents

The children raced to see what Santa brought them, and then we opened our family's presents. This Christmas, Jane Gray received lots of horses and horse-related objects, including a picture of Stewbaby riding a horse; Charlie was all about sports, legos, and dinosaurs; and Meg loved her dolls. They also received their special Christmas gifts from Daddy (angels for the girls and a nutcracker for Charlie) and their 2011 Christmas ornaments. Mommy gave Daddy framed pictures of our Christmas cards over the years, and Daddy gave Mommy framed pictures of the children and the prayers Dr. Duncan prayed at their baptisms. It was a dear Christmas!
