Sunday Afternoon

We dropped Meg off at a birthday skating party and had some time to kill.  After dinner, we found an old playground - not real sure the kids knew what a see-saw was, but they enjoyed old-time fun.

Thunder Baseball Starts

The crazies are back at it.  We opened the season (despite any pictures of the actual baseball game) with frost on the bullpen mound during bp (but had warmed up nicely by first pitch at 9:00) and a crisp 45 degrees by the time we finished the nightcap (was really 11:48, not 12:48).

Charlie's Dribbling

Charlie loves dribbling even after the season is over - and it might get on his father's nerves a little in the mornings before school.

Charlie and his buddies had a great time at the Alpine slide show tonight - only have 4 months to dream about next year . . . .

Poor Sick Meg

Poor, sweet, little Meg had a rough week staying home 3 days with a virus feeling yucky.  At least she had her comfort pup with her along the way.

Letter from Charlie

Charlie's Bible class at school wrote thank you letters to people in their lives to whom they were grateful.  Daddy got several thank you notes from his baseball players, including this one from his favorite pitcher.

Madison Grizzlies

Charlie joined a basketball league in Madison this spring.  The Grizzlies had a great run going 7-0 in the regular season.  Charlie had a good time with some new friends (Wells, Gary, Jackson, Cbj, Coach Gibbs, Romen, Cyson, Pate and Coach Adams).

Sticky Notes and Bible Quotes second grade play

Meg was hoping to be a teacher in the second grade play, and she was thrilled that was the part that she got.  She loves to be on stage, and she loves to sing!

Bach Festival

Jane Gray took the ACT this morning as part of the Duke TIPS program, and then we raced to Raymond for the Bach Festival.  This is her 5th Bach Festival, and her 5th Superior.  They rang the bell for her and presented her with her medal.  She was so excited!

Full day of soccer and basketball

Meg had a soccer game, and Charlie had a soccer game and two basketball games today.  Charlie spent the night out last night, so he was very tired, but he and his teams won all three games, and he even scored the game winning goal for his soccer team!  He is going to sleep well tonight!  Meg had a successful day, too.  Her team won, and she scored two goals!  Unfortunately, Mom missed her game to take Jane Gray to the Bach Festival, so we don't have any pictures from her game.

Warner's spend the night party

Wendy sent me this cute picture from Warner's birthday party.  It looks like the boys are having fun!

Meg's 8th birthday Valentine party

Meg wanted to have a Valentine party for her birthday this year.  We invited 30 of her closest friends and decorated the house with a ton of hearts!  The girls decorated candy bags, made Hershey Kisses rings, got their fingernails painted by Jane Gray, Sayley, Aubrey Scott, and Liddy, sang karaoke, took pictures in a photo booth, and ran all over the backyard playing and jumping on the trampoline.  It was a beautiful, sunny day, and the girls had so much fun!  After cupcakes, ice cream, and pink lemonade (and live entertainment from Sayley and Aubrey Scott!), the girls filled their candy bags up at the candy bar.  It was a fun party!
