Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from Culleywood Road!

Trick-or-treating at Nana and Grandpa's

Our final stop of the night was Nana and Grandpa's house. Nana and Grandpa showered the kids with gifts and candy. Thank you, Nana and Grandpa!

The Crawfords' Halloween party

Sayley and the Crawfords invited us to their Halloween party. They had a jumpyland, which was a hit with our crew. We also stopped by the Minors' house before heading to Nana and Grandpa's house.

Hazelwood trick-or-treating

The Bairds asked us to come by their house, so we trick-or-treated at some of our "old" neighbors' houses on Hazelwood. Sweet Rhonda made us some yummy rice krispy treats. We love the Bairds so much!

Wild Valley Halloween party and trick-or-treating

After our neighborhood party, we went to the Hollingsworths' Halloween party. There, we rode on a hayride and went trick-or-treating. Charlie hung out with his buddies, Banks and Andy, and Meg and Anne Melton were inseparable. Jane Gray rode with the Hollingsworths and Mary Patton in Jet's convertible. We met up with her on Dalrymple for some more trick-or-treating.

Neighborhood Halloween party

Some of our sweet neighbors organized a block party on the Heritage Hill cul-de-sac. There were lots of yummy Halloween treats and fun games - Go Fish, Name that Monster Part, and Mummy Dressing were our favorite. Charlie and some of the boys played a pick up game of football, too. We had so much fun!

Pumpkin carving

After the boo'ing, Daddy started a fire, we put on Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, and carved our jack-o-lantern. The kids drew out their designs, and we picked our favorite. Isn't he scary?!?

We've been boo'ed!

We found an orange bag of goodies at our front door when we got home from church. We have, apparently, been boo'ed. We put our ghost on our door so that our neighbors would know we have been boo'ed and then we left treats at two other neighbor's homes, rang their bell, and RAN! Meg thought we were crazy, but Jane Gray and Charlie loved it! Jane Gray chose to boo Liddy, and Charlie boo'ed Wilson. In the last picture, they are sneaking to Liddy's house. So fun!

Halloween at the Orchard

We put on our Halloween costumes (Jane Gray - Princess Leia, Charlie - General Grievous, and Meg - Cinderella) and visited Alice May and Alice at the Orchard. Meg loved showing off her painted nails and crown to the ladies!

Two peas in a pod

We watched the Ole Miss-Auburn game at the Eisenhauers' house. Ella and Meg are so funny when they get together - they never leave each other's side. They are such sweet cousins!

Saturday in Yazoo City

We met the Browns, Madduxes, Andersons, and Balls in Yazoo City for some fishing, football playing, grilling out, and exploring. The weather was gorgeous, and we had a great time. Jane Gray and Charlie led the kids all over the place - they even hiked the creek. We also grilled out and cooked s'mores on the pier. It was a perfect day!
