Backyard Soccer

Meg and Charlie played a round or ten of soccer in the back yard tonight.  Dad was declared the winner in having been the goalie.

MBA Fill-In

Charlie was able to help some buddies out and played MBA basketball tonight.  It's always good to get an extra game in when possible.

Barbour Family Saturday Night

We Barbours love game night (even if the older one left us behind tonight).

Meg in Charge

Meg had a great time being the teacher and reading to the class today.

Sweet Meg cuddled up with her dog, blanket, fire and Granddaddy Rickey and shed a few tears.  We all miss him.

Soccer in Lafayette

It was not the most productive soccer tournament on record, but Meg played well (until fever hit on Sunday and we watched from the car with the flu).

Meg was the Star Student this week and was living it up having a big time.

Youth Duck Hunt

The ducks didn't really cooperate but a great time was had nonetheless.  It was a perfect morning with a great group of Charlie's buddies and dads. 

Prairie Wildlife Quail Hunt

Pop's Christmas present to us was a quail hunt that we took him up on today.  We had a blast - starting with a huge lunch and then splitting up hunting. Unfortunately for Dad, Charlie and Pop hunted together - which was great for them.  Charlie shot well and ended up with a tailgate full of birds.  It was an incredibly fun day spent afield.

Boy Scouts

Charlie has nearly reached the end of his Boy Scouts trail.  His next to last Court of Honor and his last Scout Sunday and last Monday night meeting were this week as he has completed his work toward Eagle.  Next step is a little more paperwork and then he is an Eagle Scout.

Sub-Deb
