Laura's Birthday - in New Orleans, for Soccer

What a great way to celebrate Mom's birthday other than soccer, friends and family in New Orleans.  Three of us drover down Sunday morning to see Mom on her birthday and watch Meg's last soccer game (and look for chickens in the trees).  From there, we went to lunch at Mother's where Chuckles orchestrated 'Happy Birthday' from the entire restaurant when Mom returned to the room - she promptly threw up her hands and walked back out (never one for the center of attention).  We then walked to Cafe du Monde for dessert and finally back to see Mom's former place of work and then home - it was a great day.

Meg and Laura were able to go to Hamilton as a birthday present for both during their trip to New Orleans for soccer.  Hamilton was fabulous.

Spend the Night

We love having the girls over for spend the night.

Youth Turkey Hunt

Uncle Will took us to Natchez on opening morning.  It was a slow start and a lot of walking.  We finally heard one gobble, but he did not cooperate.  We had a great time being in the woods and starting Spring Break a little early.
