Opening Day at Louise

We ended up with a free Saturday, so Meg, Charlie and Dad headed to Louise for opening day of youth deer season.  A few deer were seen, but none shot.  Between the squirrel barking at us, being comfortable on the stand, taking naps, . . .  it was a great morning.  (Sorry, no pic of Charlie).

Jane Gray Visits Ole Miss

Jane Gray had a great tour of Ole Miss from the Union, to Accounting and the Dean, walking tour, and Honors College.  All indications are that she is headed to Oxford in the Fall of 2021.

Meg's Prep Basketball Career Starts

Meg is playing up with the 8th grade team this year, and they started their season this week at Richland and then against the School for the Deaf.  The Lady Pats won both handily, and Meg played fairly well in both.  Looking forward to a lot of basketball this year.

First Baptist Bonfire

Charlie and his crew had a good time at the FBC bonfire until word started spreading that they had all been exposed to Covid.  Fun thing was that Walter rode home with us (in masks provided by Ashley Maddux) needing to cough but the boys wouldn't let him - and turned out he was positive too.

Providence Hill IEA Show

It's always a great day when showing horses.  This was Jane Gray's first IEA show of the year trying to earn points to get to the regional.
