Thunder Oxford Baseball

The Thunder made their annual trip to Oxford for baseball and Double Decker.  We played well, but the tournament was cut short by rain.  However, we won the pool and received the trophies!  We also distributed our rain-delayed prizes from the prior week's tournament - RINGS.  You would have thought Charles was handing out million dollar bills.

Children's Choir

Charlie and Meg performed well at the children's choir this morning.  It's odd to think back on how big we thought those 3d-5th grade boys were not too long ago, and now this is Charlie's last children's choir performance - time moves on.

Easter egg hunt

The kids were serious about their Easter egg hunt because there was money at stake.  Charlie found the golden egg, but Jane Gray found the most money.  Meg scored the most candy.

Easter pics

The Easter bunny came!

The Easter bunny had a little help this year, and she was worn out the next day!  The kids loved what the Easter bunny brought them!

Baseball tournament champs

The Thunder played in their first AA tournament of the season and won it!  Charlie pitched two scoreless innings and batted 3-3 in the championship game!  He (and his Daddy) really wanted to win!  The last pic is of the winning pitchers and their trusty catcher.

River Hills Easter egg hunt

Meg and Morgan went to the River Hills Easter egg hunt together and found lots of eggs.  Meg didn't want to take a picture with the Easter bunny, so we settled on this one instead (last pic).

Easter in Yazoo City

While her parents were dividing and conquering, Meg rode to Yazoo City with the other Barbours and got a little fishing in.  The whole family finally arrived and were able to spend a great early Easter Saturday with Pop.

BSA Campout at McCraney's Farm

We had a great, quick campout at the McCraney's farm just outside of town - campfire, food, stories, a little sleep, then more food, working on Boy Scout checklists, and a whole lot of fun thrown in as well.
