Meg's 8th Birthday

What a wonderful day it was eight years ago, and this was another great day with our favorite curly-headed little girl.

Duck Hunts at Louise

We had a fun hunt with Pop, Timmy and Luke but were not able to get Luke his first duck (not due to a lack of opportunities).  We also had a good hunt last week when Charlie shot his first teal.

Almost Snow Day

In Mississippi, if white stuff even falls, there is reason to celebrate a snow day.  If you look really closely, you might be able to see a flake or two.

Grandparents' Day at FPDS

Charlie was very excited for his turn at Grandparents' Day at FPDS - and especially so to have everyone there.  Afterwards, Nana and Grandpa had to go out of town, so Pop treated us to lunch at the Mayflower where Meg was able to get some snuggles.

Matilda in Memphis

Girls trip!  We drove to Oxford with the Moaks on Saturday.  We ate at Ajax's and played cards and board games for hours!  Sunday morning, we woke up and went to brunch at Bottletree.  We ran into Emily Fair and her sweet family which was so fun!  After brunch, we drove to Memphis with the Carters to see Matilda.  We had the best time and loved running into the Hogans!  After Matilda, we went to the Pyramid and Bass Pro to ride the highest free-standing elevator in the country!  It went so high!  At the top, we took some amazing pictures and enjoyed a fun dinner before heading home.  We had a great time!

Jane Gray's First Horse Show

Jane Gray's first horse show - Stewbaby would have been so proud.  The first day was raining and the second day was freezing - a great way to show horses.  Jane Gray rode well, learned a lot and had some fun.

First Ole Miss Game in the Pavillion

Charlie received tickets to the first game at Ole Miss's new basketball arena from Pop for Christmas - he and Daddy had a blast.  Of course, Charlie made the jumbo screen dancing as well as tried to get some loot from the players after the game (but they were not as generous as football players).

Jane Gray's first horse scrimmage

Jane Gray's first horse show scrimmage went very well as she competed in flat and over fences classes.
