Easter Afternoon in Yazoo City

The Barbour/Hurst/Minor clans met in Yazoo City for an Easter afternoon country day. We were met with early rain, but once the sky cleared, everyone was at the pond.  We had a great time with cousins and almost-cousins.

Easter lunch at Nana and Grandpa's

The children got more Easter candy and gifts, and we enjoyed another Easter egg hunt at Nana and Grandpa's house.

Easter morning

We awoke to Easter baskets full of yummy candy and fun toys.  The Easter bunny also hid some eggs in the house, and the children loved hunting for them.

The Minors' Easter egg hunt

The Minors had their annual Easter egg hunt in drizzly weather this year, but the fun was not dampened.  The children thoroughly enjoyed the hunt and Easter games.  The Harveys' Easter bunny came again this year, and she was a hit!

Easter Eve in Yazoo City

We enjoyed Easter Eve lunch in Yazoo City with the Barbours.  Sherrie got the children an Easter egg pinata.  Charlie was picked to hit first, and he hit it right off the rope.  When the last grandchild had gotten his/her turn, and the pinata came down, we were amazed when Charlie picked up half of the pinata and poured the candy into his basket.  Brilliant!  There was also an Easter egg hunt, and Jane Gray found the golden egg.  She was thrilled!  After lunch, we fished and fished before heading to Jackson for the Minors' Easter egg hunt.
