Charlie and the Browns

Charlie went home with these crazy boys after the baseball game.

Charlie's baseball game

Charlie's baseball team won a close one against a team which included some of Charlie's best buddies (that's Andy playing first base in the top picture).  Charlie played shortstop and pitcher and had some really good hits.  We think he showed out for one of his favorite fans, Pop.

Meg's Kindergarten preview

Meg got to preview her new kindergarten classes this afternoon with Charlie's kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Hutchinson.  She got to see several of her new classmates and received treats at her new classes.  One of her new teachers, the art teacher Mrs. Laird (shown in the last picture), also taught Mommy art when she was at FPDS.

Jane Gray's un-birthday

Jane Gray celebrated her un-birthday today at school.  She took a cookie cake for dessert and her hermit crab for show and tell.  Several of her friends came home with her for a spend the night party, too.

Jane Gray's violin performance

Jane Gray and her violin class performed the National Anthem at this afternoon's Mississippi Braves game.  They did so well, and the players were very complimentary of them.  One even gave Jane Gray a game ball!

Jane Gray's softball game

Jane Gray pitched a great game tonight, and the Blue Dolphins rolled to another victory.  She also went 3 for 3 with some great hits.  We celebrated the victory with Nana, Grandpa, and our Eisenhauer cousins.

Mississippi petrified forest

The Mississippi petrified forest celebrated its 50th anniversary this weekend.  There was a children's fossil dig, which the children loved.  They found all sorts of fossils, including petrified wood and shark's teeth.  Charlie also got an Indian arrowhead necklace, and the girls made petrified wood bead trees.  The children took turns trying to break a geode.  Daddy was the winner, breaking his piece with one go!
