The Hurst girls and we went to the Winterview Farm Christmas party tonight. There was a big, warm fire (so warm, Charlie had to shield his eyes), and we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows for dinner. The big girls loved seeing their friends and favorite horses. Jane Gray was sad to learn that her favorite horse, Cooper, was sold. Happily, we know the new owner, so we plan to see Cooper very soon.
