Sweet princesses
Kate McCraney came over to play with Meg today. Meg immediately showed Kate to her room where they dressed up as princesses. Kate wanted to take a picture with Meg by our car, but Mommy talked the girls into posing by our roses. Sweet princesses!

Puppet show
Meg and two of her buddies, Christy and Grace, went to the Willie Morris puppet show today. After the show, the librarian taught the children some sign language. Meg was cute trying to sign the words. After her hard work, she and the girls were rewarded with a yummy snack of animal crackers and Capri Suns.
Mommy's birthday
Mommy celebrated her 36th birthday in style! We had a wonderfull time starting with breafast on the patio (JG was just a tab bit late for school), followed by no lunch together (as we had lunch at Two Sisters the week before knowing Daddy was not going to be available), babysitting with Aunt Stacy while Mommy and Daddy had a quiet dinner out, and finally cake at home. We all love Mommy and wish her the happiest birthday ever!

Sunday stroll
For the last couple of Sunday afternoons, Daddy and the kids have played softball/baseball in the front yard with various neighborhood kids. Today, Daddy said Mommy could pick the activity since my birthday was this week. I chose a nice stroll/bike ride with the family. Meg started off so well, but by the end of the stroll, she had decided it was better to ride on Daddy's shoulders, instead of her trike.

The Currys
We went with Daddy to his deposition in Hattiesburg. Two of our best friends from college, Wes and Marion Curry, live in Hattiesburg, so we stopped in to see them and their two children. We had a lot of fun catching up! In this picture, we caught the children eating Burn's potty training candy. Burn was very sweet to share his candy!

Fossil hunting
The Director of the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science has told us to look for prehistoric shark teeth in the creek beds at Pop's in Yazoo City. We took his advice and went fossil hunting this afternoon. We didn't find any teeth, but we found lots of petrified wood, some cool rocks, and a raccoon jaw (which thrilled Charlie!). We walked all the way from the bridge to the horse barn. When we left the creek, we saw this vine and enjoyed swinging on it. Well, Meg wasn't too excited about it, but she did give it a try.

Spring Break in Yazoo City
We spent the first weekend of Spring Break in Yazoo City. We invited the Eisenhauers to join us on Saturday, and we had a great time hanging out with them, riding the four-wheeler with Uncle Will (Ella's favorite!), riding Mo Glo (Charlie got bucked off for the second time - Pop says one more, and he's a real cowboy), and doing lots of fishing. We ended the day at Hasty Tasty's.
