Beach bonfire
The Ruffins had a bonfire on the beach our last night and invited us and several other Jackson families to join them. It was the perfect ending to a perfect week!
Charlie's beach ball
It was very windy today, and Charlie's beach ball got caught in a wind gust and bounced down the beach away from Charlie. Charlie ran after it, but he ran so far that we got nervous, and called him back. Charlie thought about his lost ball for a couple of minutes and then ran after it again. We were so surprised when he came back victorious. What a funny guy!

Children's carnival at Rosemary Beach
We went to the Rosemary Beach children's carnival again this year. The children had their faces and hair painted and played lots of fun games.

Date night
Charlie and Mommy went on a date night tonight. Charlie picked our destination - Sugar Shak! We split a chocolate milkshake, and Mommy bought Charlie a huge lollipop, too. Charlie was a precious date - he kept saying "I love you" over and over again. So sweet!

Crabbing
We went crabbing our first night at the beach. Jane Gray and Charlie are old pros, but this year, Meg caught some of her own crabs. Not to be outdone, Daddy found some BIG crabs!
Beach trip
The entire Koon/Stowe clan headed to Seacrest Beach this week. We spent the mornings at the beach flying kites, building sandcastles, surfing, jumping waves with Daddy, and catching all sorts of sea life, including minnows, sand crabs and fleas, a hermit crab that Jane Gray adopted and then released, and even a flounder! Afternoons were spent at the Seacrest Beach pool. We went out several times for fun lunches, took turns cooking dinner at night, and spent our evenings at Rosemary or Alys Beach watching movies, hanging out, playing football, and eating yogurt or candy at the Candy Shak. It was a great trip!
