Happy Halloween!

It has rained all day today, so our neighborhood moved Halloween to tomorrow night, and we spent the night indoors watching the Charlie Brown Halloween special and carving our pumpkin.  It was a fun Halloween!

Jane Gray went with the Hursts to a party and trick or treating in Eastover, and the rest of us went to the River Hills Haunted House.  Charlie and Meg loved the petting zoo, but they weren't as sure of the Haunted House.  Charlie didn't seem bothered by it at first (I love this picture of him getting his candy while Meg is consoled by Daddy), but when the chain saw massacring zombie chased Charlie and his friends, he panicked (next to last picture).  It was pretty funny!

Halloween at Caston's Creek

The Caston's Creek Halloween party is a fun tradition, and we always love being with the Montgomerys!  We enjoyed hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch, a hay ride, pumpkin hunting (Charlie's and Meg's pumpkins were so big, they rolled them back to the hay ride), pumpkin painting for Meg (with Charlie helping to paint Luke's), football, and a pinata Charlie busted that was filled with lots and lots of Halloween candy.

Yazoo City Afternoon

Laura decided to kick us out of the house in order to get some Christmas dress sewing done, so we took off to Yazoo City.  We accomplished the main goal of cutting firewood - but we also played in the yard, rode the horse, ate well, and had a blast.
