We tend to be close to late every morning, but Dad sure loves watching his girl run to class.

End of Hunting Season at Louise

The sun has set on a great hunting season this year in Louise.  The last weekend was capped off with a great duck hunt and then a fine deer hunt - if only Meg had had a gun, she would have her first buck.

Meg's Birthday

Meg had a grand birthday - we cannot believe that our baby is 9!  Presents followed by soccer, basketball, dinner at Crazy Ninja and ended the day with cake.

Jackson City League Basketball

Charlie's basketball team is playing in the City league for the first time against boys several years older than they are.  Several have been over six feet tall!  The boys have played their hearts out and have learned a ton!  It's been fun to watch!

Meg' First Year of Basketball

Meg has started basketball at First Baptist Grizzlies this year.  She scored her first points (against a 5th and 6th grade team!) and plays some vicious defense.  And sweet Mrs. Maxwell even made an appearance just for Mer.

FPDS basketball

Charlie has loved playing basketball at FPDS.  He plays point guard for his team, and they are a respectable 2-2 with Charlie scoring 12 points in his last game.  The last picture is my favorite - he doesn't like sitting on the sidelines!

Jane Gray's Horse Show

Jane Gray had a horse show at Providence Farm and won a couple ribbons.  Meg found friends and played all over the farm.  Charlie, well, he sat in a chair.

Meg's Cheer Competition

Meg's first cheer competition was a success, and Meg was as happy after the routine as she has ever been.  And her team won their division!  We celebrated with the team at Pig and the Pint.
