Meg is Awesome

Meg is awesome and had an awesome weekend as usual.  Napping with Dad, visiting with cousins and playing violin at church is just an every week occurrence for this little one.

Boy Scouts Campout - Wilderness Hut

Charlie was able to make it to the campout outside of Crystal Springs (due to rain and cancellation of baseball) and build his wilderness hut of sticks and leaves for a night's sleep.  He said it wasn't all that bad (they let them have their sleeping bags) except when he bumped into something in the middle of the night and a pile of leaves fell on him.

Spring Break - Richmond

The final leg of a great spring break started in Richmond visiting Gigi and Pop's house and grave site and then spending another night in Charlotte celebrating Laura's soon-to-be birthday.

Spring Break - DC - Arlington, Mount Vernon, Wizzards

Our final day in DC caused Charlie to say "this is the best trip EVER - I have to change my background again".  From the weight of Arlington to the beauty of Mount Vernon to the thrill of a close NBA basketball game on the floor - what a day.

Spring Break - DC - Spy, Post Office, Lincoln, Smithsoneans

A fun but tiring day with lots of activities.  We started in the Spy Museum which the kids loved; made our way to the Post Office (man was it cold way up there); Lincoln, Ford's Theatre and Portrait Gallery were very interesting, and the Air & Space was fantastic.
