River Hills Summer

After a day at the pool with her friends, Meg and Anna Waddell decided to play a little hand-ball tennis to finish off the day.

Ole Miss v. Vandy in the SEC Tournament Championship

We made a last minute decision to go cheer the Rebels in the Championship game.  The game was great for the first three innings as we were up 9-1, but it didn't work out for the Rebels in the end.  We had a great time with friends anyway.

Flooding at Louise

Charlie and Dad went through Louise on the way home from Greenwood to check on the flooding and to take some target practice on some beer cans.

Charlie as a Page at Debutante

The Garden Party was a hit, and Charlie got to meet three of his McBee cousins.  While they had their pool party, Daddy got the girls to himself for dinner at Lusco's.

Last Day of School

One of the greatest days of the year - last day of school!  It was enjoyed by all.

Girls to First Baptist

The girls went to a function at First Baptist tonight and came home to tell Dad all about it.

Baseball in the Street

Through the years, Charlie and Dad have thrown in the street.  It has progressed from across the street, to down the street, to now curveballs.

FPDS Field Day

 

Despite storms forcing it inside at First Baptist, it was a big day for Mrs. Smith's 5th grade class.  Meg was very fired up to compete (she was watching what the other classes were doing).

FPDS Awards Day

Meg was rewarded for her hard work and 500 Advanced Reading points today at FPDS.

Last Blue Dolphin Game

It was a great year for the all FPDS Blue Dolphin team (even if someone came straight from soccer again and forgot her softball jersey). 

Charlie's Eagle Scout ceremony

 

Charlie is an Eagle Scout!  He was promoted today and made a wonderful speech.  Pop gave the closing charge to the boys.  It was a special day!
