Eagle Scouts Honored at FBC

Charlie and the other 2019 Eagle Scout recipients were honored by First Baptist this morning.  We were not real sure if his uniform would fit after 9 months of not wearing it.

Storm in the Championship Game

The Storm fought valiantly, but came up a little short in their quest for the championship.  It was the best first half ever as we were down 19-23, but were not able to keep going in the second half.  Meg had a great season, really improved and had a lot of fun with her basketball friends - and her Dad had even more fun coaching. 

Youth Duck Hunt

It was a great final duck hunt of the season despite low numbers of ducks and even lower shooting percentages from all of the boys.  However, the breakfast at Hines Grocery helped everyone and capped a fun morning. 

Prep v. Smilow

It was a good ending to the 8th grade basketball season with a good win against Smilow.  Charlie played really well and probably his best half to end it scoring 12 in the second. 

Meg's Yazoo City Birthday Party

What a fun day celebrating Meg's 12th birthday!  Travel to Yazoo City for lunch at P'reaux's and then fun at Pop's house.  The girls loved the cake horses, Polaris, pier, swing and especially the creek.  There were many sad faces when we had to leave to head home - but they all agreed to return for more fun.
