Prep Soccer Wins over Hartfield

Another good win for Meg and her team was especially nice with big siblings in attendance.  

Rush Soccer League Game

 Meg and Dad had a quick trip to Hattiesburg to play a Rush league game in this afternoon.  Rush won another one and have been on quite the streak.  

EC Sox at Gulf Coast CC

 

Charlie had a quick doubleheader at MSGCC.  Another good pitching outing for Charlie (including striking out buddy Christopher).  And finally a baseball day Laura could get to watch.  

Prep Beats MRA

 

Charlie played well and Prep got a big win over MRA 13-7.  

Prep Soccer Beats JA

The JA game started with a bang as someone forgot her white jersey . . . thankfully, home was not far away for Dad to go.  It was not a great game, but it worked out for the good guys.  Aunt Fair continued winning the game and made her appearance in less than great weather.

Prep Soccer at Pillow

 It was a good trip to the Delta to watch Meg and the team play soccer.  Big win for Team Prep, but we missed Morgan who we always get a post-game picture with (but missing here).

Sox Baseball at Hinds CC and Trustmark Park

 It was a good weekend of baseball - especially since it was local.  We played the year younger teams, and didn't see many strikes the first game (as seen by Cbj's reaction above).  Cbj pitched really well at Trustmark Park which was fun to see.  After one pitch, David Blevins who was sitting beside me said 'did you see that?'  Cbj had thrown the pitch and whipped around to see what the speed was on the scoreboard.  Lots of new things with Sox baseball. 

BFC Tournament Champs

 

It was a great weekend for Rush soccer as we beat BFC that counted as the championship game from the Florida weekend last weekend, a tournament win this weekend and a league win - 3 for 1, and then wen on to win the BFC tournament overall as well.  Lots of fun.

Prep Soccer at MRA

 

It's always good to beat MRA, and we did just that.  

Cross Country at PCS

We are still new at this Cross Country stuff, but Meg is doing really well.  She finished strong and continues getting better.

Perfect Game in Hoover

Our first Perfect Game tournament in Hoover was a good experience (other than finishing Sunday night at 7:00 in Bessemer before heading home).
