Charlie's second T-ball game

Charlie's second T-ball game this morning was another success and big win for the Star Grocery Blues. Charlie drew another start at first base and recorded several put-outs. He also had a couple good hits up the middle which were punctuated with his patented slides in home.

M Braves' opener with the Browns

The Browns invited Charlie and Daddy to the M Braves' season opener, and they had a great time - baseball, peanuts, Sprite, ice cream and fireworks. The Browns called it a night in the 6th inning, but Charlie and Daddy stayed to the end.

Red clover

Stewbaby loved red clover, so the children now love it, too. This afternoon, we took some pictures of them playing in some red clover in their Easter outfits.

Dinner with Gigi

We ate dinner with Gigi and the Eisenhauers at Nana and Grandpa's house. Jane Gray gave Gigi some flowers she picked at Charlie's soccer game, Charlie was the first one to speak to Gigi (he told her all about his trophy), and Meg and Ella hugged all over Gigi. It was a sweet night!

Last soccer game

Charlie played in his last soccer game today at the JFC jamboree. He played a great game and received a trophy from Coach Laird after the game was over. Charlie loves his trophy and enjoyed using it as a sword with his buddy, William Laird.

First T-ball game of 2011

Charlie's T-ball team had their first game today. Charlie played first base because Coach Austin said he was the only one who could catch. He did great and threw out three runners. He also hit very well - two were shots to right centerfield. We were so proud of Charlie!

Covenant's Spring Program

Covenant Preschool's Spring Program was this morning. Charlie was very well-behaved, but he did not really get into the program this year. He sang some of the time and occasionally joined in on the hand motions. He may not have a future in show choir, but Daddy is just fine with that!
