Touchdown Charlie!

Charlie had a big night as he caught the first touchdown of the season for the 7th grade football team and raced 67 yards for the score.  He was mighty excited as he retold the story to Nana and Grandpa.

Neighborhood Party

We had a neighborhood get together, and Meg had a good time running around with her buddies.

Dove Hunt at Marions' Place

Charles Marion invited Charlie and me to hunt at their place down the Natchez Trace.  The birds were flying high and fast, but we were able to bring home enough for dinner.

Dove hunting

Opening Day at the Harris sunflower field.  There were not a whole lot of doves, but we had fun anyway before the rain ran us away.  Meg enjoyed shooting Stewbaby's gun and busting clay targets; Charlie was a little disgruntled that he didn't get to shoot more; Jane Gray enjoyed the sun and visiting.  It was a good day.
