Charlie's broken nose
Charlie fell face-first into a bleacher at his Daddy's softball game. This is how he looked at the hospital - he is so laid back!

Storytime at the Eudora Welty house
We went to hear The Tortoise and the Hare read at the Eudora Welty house this afternoon. The children listened very attentively and enjoyed making a tortoise hat.

End of the year parties
We hustled home from Virginia so that the children could attend their end of the year parties. Charlie graduated from kindergarten today, and his class celebrated with popsicles at the Pavilion. Jane Gray's class celebrated their year with one of her favorite things - coke! Jane Gray and Charlie have had a great year, and we are so thankful for their sweet teachers, Mrs. Herrington, Mrs. Hutchinson, and Mrs. Manning! God is so good!

Gigi's funeral
Our beloved Gigi went to be with the Lord on Wednesday. We celebrated her life this weekend in Virginia with all of our Kibler cousins. Our trip to Virginia was a long one, but we made it fun. We stopped in Atlanta for lunch at the Varsity. It was a hit! We arrived in Richmond late Saturday night. It was too late to swim at the hotel, so the kids were extra excited to swim Sunday night with their cousin, Benjamin (Meg's nickname came from Benjamin's mom, and Mommy's cousin, Meg). Benjamin and Charlie were born on the same day, and they affectionately call each other "twin." They were so cute together, and the weekend on the whole was bittersweet, but precious, too. We will miss Gigi terribly, but we are grateful that her earthly suffering is over, and she is dancing in Heaven.
