Jane Gray's first piano recital was this afternoon at the Municipal Art Gallery. When Mommy was a little girl, she took piano, and her piano recitals were also at the Gallery. Nana and Mommy had lots of flashbacks! Jane Gray was the first pianist to play, and she did very well. At the end of her piece, she curtsied so sweetly! We also enjoyed listening to Liddy and Genevieve play. Charlie and Meg listened very attentively up until Genevieve played. After that, Charlie fell asleep in Aunt Fair's lap, and Meg and Nana played in the foyer. After the recital, we took pictures and enjoyed a reception. Nana and Grandpa gave Jane Gray those gorgeous pink roses she is holding in the pictures. Jane Gray was thrilled! From the reception, we headed to Sal and Mookie's with Nana and Grandpa to celebrate a successful recital.
