We were supposed to meet the Driskells in Yazoo City on Friday for the weekend, but they could not come because they had a sick child, so we changed our plans and just spent Saturday in Yazoo City. Sayley went with us, and we had fun doing our usual activities. It was hot, so we spent a lot of time at the creek. We found a seashell fossil and a large piece of petrified wood. We also saw a bobcat hiding in a tree. Charlie was very disappointed that Daddy would not shoot it. When Meg tired of walking, we went to play with the horses. The kids had fun petting and grooming them. We also fished and went canoeing. It was a fun, full day!
