We made it to Disney World! We checked into Port Orleans resort, unpacked our bags, put on our bathing suits and headed to the swimming pool. We drove to Orlando from Oxford where it had been snowing and freezing, so we were thrilled to be swimming in sunny, 70/80 degree weather. And there was a slide at the pool - so fun! After we swam for a while, we got dressed and boarded a water taxi to dinner at Rainforest Cafe. We had a great time at dinner surrounded by leopards and monkeys and snakes hanging from trees and especially enjoyed the volcano dessert - a yummy brownie cake piled high with ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate and caramel sauces. After dinner, we walked around Downtown Disney. Charlie loved the Lego Store!
