Charlie's class went on a field trip to the Mississippi Crafts Center. We split into four groups. Charlie's group went on a scavenger hunt in the gift shop first. Charlie took the lead and walked his team all over that gift shop looking for the clues. The boys won and were rewarded with bead rings made by the Mississippi Choctaw Indians. Our group then went to the craft room where the children made Christmas felt ball necklaces; outside to watch a demonstration from a blacksmith; and then back to the craft room to make Christmas ornaments from beads. The children had so much fun!
