The girls' piano recital was this afternoon, and they played so well! Meg played "Softly Whisper," and Jane Gray played "Pavane in A Minor." They also had a duet, "Feelin' Spiffy." Jane Gray's sweet friends, Aubrey Scott and Lilly, came to cheer her on, and several of Meg's friends were there, too. Charlie slept through most of the recital, but Mr. Fox said he was his best punch customer. When we got home, Jane Gray found these beautiful flowers from Lilly.
