After Desoto dropoff, we went to Windy Hill Farm for a BBQ with the Harpers. Of course, Charlie and Jack went straight to the corn hole boards! After lunch, we drove to the Alpine Camp line. We parked right behind the Madduxes and Brown, so the boys all piled in our van. When the line started moving, we noticed that a car was having engine trouble. Dad, the Boy Scout, stopped to help them, so the boys jumped in the Harpers' car. Julie texted us to let us know that all four of the boys got in the same cabin! They were pumped, and James said they "screamed like little girls." When we finally got to camp, the boys had already picked their bunks (they were the first ones there). Charlie chose a stand-alone bed by one of his counselors. His bed was next to a bunk bed, which Christopher and Griffin chose, and another stand-alone bed, which Jack claimed. After we made Charlie's bed, we headed out to visit with some of the other Alpine parents, and Charlie and Jack went straight to play washers. Charlie didn't seem sad at all to see us leave, which made our hearts soar. We are so proud of him!
