No Kids

Mom and Dad had a month of whatever they wanted while the kids were at camp - beach, Oxford and Birmingham the night before pickup.

Alpine First Half

Charlie's first half of Alpine has apparently been great, filled with lots of activities, friends and fun.  The peace sign is a special 'hello' to his mother.  The only complaints we've heard have been a twisted ankle and hornet sting.

DeSoto First Half

 

The girls report that they are having a great time at DeSoto.  Meg regularly reports that she "loves, loves, loves, loves, . . ." camp.

Alpine dropoff

Jack and Charlie patiently waited on us at DeSoto until a little after 9:00 when they were chomping at the bit to get to Alpine and pick their beds.  They found out from Roderick Russ that they were in Mountain 2, and they raced to get their beds.  Cousin William Chambliss and Jackson friend Walter George are also in their cabin.  We got the boys settled, and they immediately took off to play tennis. Charlie is so glad to be back on the mountain!
