Meg had her first Camp Desoto dropoff, and she was so excited! We had trouble keeping up with her because she was running all over the camp - she was so at home there! Sweet Kitty Lindsey showed her around, and she played tether ball with Annie Stanley (whose mom Katy is one of Aunt Stacy's best friends) while the girls waited for cabin assignments. Meg is in Cabin D with the Banovac twins and Carlisle Blossom. Laurel Raynor is also in their cabin; Laurel's mom, Gibson, is a friend from college. Jane Gray is with Aubrey Scott, Betsy, and Elise again. She is thrilled! We didn't stay very long at Desoto because we had to race to Alpine for its 9:30 dropoff. The girls didn't mind one bit; Meg was practically pushing us away. She is going to have the BEST summer!
