Present opening

After dutifully waiting on the stairs, the kids ran into the den to find full stockings and lots of presents!  Charlie found the pickle, so he got to open the first present.  He was thrilled that he finally got his John Wall jersey and Apple laptop.  Meg received the Fitbit Versa and makeup she had been asking for as well as a smart soccer ball, basketball, and lots of clothes and jewelry.  Jane Gray got a riding helmet, a trip to Italy with her Latin class, and lots of clothes.  After presents, we ate a yummy breakfast of sausage pinwheels, coffee cake, and cinnamon rolls.  Dad read several of our Jesse Tree passages, and the children added the ornaments to their Jesse Tree.  While it is so fun to open presents from each other, we pray that our children will always remember that Jesus is our greatest gift!
