This morning, we stopped by the Orchard to visit Grandmother Margaret and Alice and give them their Christmas gifts. Meg crawled all over Alice, and Charlie was his usual wild self. Jane Gray serenaded the ladies with her rendition of Away in a Manger. And, as usual, both Jane Gray and Charlie had their fill of candy at Alice's and cookies at Margaret's. We tried to visit with Alice May, too, but she wasn't at home. She was probably playing Bridge somewhere.
