Picnic at the zoo

We picked Daddy up from work and took him with us to the zoo for lunch. The zoo has three new tigers, and we have been very excited about going to see them. We were only able to see two - Kipling and Emerson. The zookeeper told us that the other brother, Taymor, is very shy. Kipling and Emerson were not shy! They played, swam, and talked "baby talk" (as the zookeeper called their soft purrs and growls) to us. The kids also really enjoyed the giraffes (Jane Gray wanted to see if we could saddle one up for her to ride), orangutans, bears, snakes, otters, elephants, and peacocks. Of course, the kids had to slide down the elephant's trunk - a "must" for them every time we visit the zoo.
