Charlie's birthday party was today at Laurel Park. It was a Spiderman slip and slide party, and it was hot! As soon as the kids got sweaty from playing on the playground, they put on their bathing suits and hit the slip and slide. After we were all good and wet, we sang Happy Birthday to Charlie and ate spider-webbed cupcakes and ice cream. We ended the party with a good ole Spiderman pinata. Daddy and Charlie were disappointed that it was a pull-string pinata (they wanted to whop it!), but it did the trick, and there was candy for all. It was a fun party!
