Daddy was offered four tickets to the NCAA basketball championship game, so we left Meg with the Hursts and headed to New Orleans. We ate dinner at Mother's and then went straight to the game. We were two hours early, so we took in the sights and bought some fun souvenirs - a hat for Charlie, basketball for Jane Gray, and T-shirt for Daddy. We had really good seats on the lower level, so we were able to see all of the action upclose. With Uncle Paul's ties to Kansas, we rooted for the Jayhawks. Charlie even made some signs for us. However, Kentucky won in the end, and we were happy the SEC was victorious (except for Charlie who HATES to lose)!
