Cockrell Butterfly Center

We tagged along on Daddy's business trip to Houston, Texas.  We slept in the first day and went for a dip in the swimming pool before meeting Daddy for lunch downtown.  After lunch, we headed to the Houston Museum of Natural Science.  We opted to go to the Cockrell Butterfly Center, and we had a ball!  We learned a lot about insects (the children loved playing the quiz game) and played with butterflies.  This Achilles Blue Morpho (Meg helped us identify the butterflies with her butterfly chart) hung out with Charlie the whole afternoon!  Charlie "rescued" him when his wings were too wet to fly.  On our way out, Jane Gray begged Mommy to buy her some chocolate-covered crickets.  Mommy said, "No way!"
