Jane Gray's Pacer performance
Jane Gray and her Pacer camp friends performed at halftime. Jane Gray loved her gloves, but she did get a little embarrassed when her friends kept shouting her name from the stands. She shook it off and performed so well!
Meg cheering at the Prep game
Meg and some of her buddies cheered the Pats on to victory tonight at the Prep-Copiah game. The girls were so cute! Some, including Meg, even got to cheer with the cheerleaders' pom poms.

Soccer jamboree
Charlie's U-10 team also played at the soccer jamboree. The U-10 league is made up of mostly third and fourth graders, so we weren't sure how Charlie would do. Well, he did great! He passed the ball well, made a few assists, and even scored a goal (top picture)!
Soccer jamboree
Meg's soccer team played their first two soccer games today at the JFC soccer jamboree. Meg loves her new teammates and played so well - she even scored three goals! Mommy even caught one on camera (next to last picture). It looks like that little goalie was going to stop the ball, but somehow Meg got it past her. Way to go, Meg!

Back to school night
Mommy and Daddy loved receiving these gems at Back to school night. Jane Gray has Mrs. Ulmer, and Charlie has Mrs. Tidwell. We were impressed with both teachers and know Jane Gray and Charlie will have wonderful fifth and second grade years. We enjoyed seeing their rooms and artwork and laughed that Charlie's desk is right next to Mrs. Tidwell's, and Jane Gray's desk is in the very back of her classroom. Those two could not be more different! Charlie is very much all boy, and Jane Gray is all girl!

Meet the Rebels Day
Daddy, Charlie and the Brown boys went to Meet the Rebels Day in Oxford. This was the Barbours' first time to attend, and of course, there was four times the usual crowd. We arrived in town early to pick up a football to get signed. Then the standing in line began - in line outside the practice facility and then in line for autographs. Charlie didn't mind at all since he got to play football behind the stadium and run around with friends inside. We hit up Coach Freeze first, then the defensive backs and ends, running backs and ended with the wide receivers. Charlie wore his #38 jersey for the first time, and as we were leaving the building, non-other than Mike Marry (#38) was outside the door signing autographs for kids. We had a great time seeing and talking with mighty Rebs.

Lunch at Brent's and Smurf's 2
Elizabeth Clarke is new to First Pres, so we took her out to Brent's to meet some of Jane Gray's friends. We had a yummy lunch of burgers and milkshakes and then Mommy took Liddy, Sayley, Jane Gray, Charlie and Meg to see Smurf's 2.
Meg's first day of kindergarten
Today was an extra special day for Meg. She is finally at First Pres! She was a little quiet going in to school this morning, but Mrs. Parker said she had a great day, and Meg was all smiles when Mommy picked her up.
