Camp Stowe

Nana and Grandpa put on another summer Camp Stowe for the kids (minus Charlie due to the tonsils).

Charlie's Tonsils

Charlie had his tonsils taken out.  He's done fairly well with lots of couch time, ice cream, Gatorade and pudding.

Desoto pickup

We arrived at Camp Desoto just in time for "Let's go fly a kite!"  Then the girls came pouring out of the dining hall.  We loved seeing Jane Gray running to us!  We were standing with the Moaks, so we got to see Aubrey Scott running to us, too.  The other girls soon found us, and we took a ton of pictures.  Meg's sweet friends, the Banovac twins, found her, too.  Charlie left us to go play gladiator ball with Jack, but not before we got a picture of him, Mary Stewart, and Mary Frances!  We loaded up Jane Gray's things and headed to the Windy Hill fruit and vegetable stand where we got to see some of the things that Jane Gray had been growing this summer.  She loved Windy Hill Farm, but of course, horseback was her favorite activity.  She even won first in her class!  That was the highlight of her summer!  And the Chickasaws won the tribe competition!

Week four was lots of fun with continued activities, tribe competitions, Christmas, the Alpine Dance and closing ceremonies.
