The Barbours Bombers took on the Media Giants tonight for their annual softball game at Trustmark Park. All of the money they raised went to Stewpot; this year they raised $17,000! Governor Barbour coached the Bombers, and they won in grand fashion, 21-1. We were so proud of Daddy - he played a great shortstop and went 5 for 5. After the game, we stayed for the Braves game. Charlie and Jane Gray were asked to be the honorary bat boy and bat girl. They both went to the field before the game and were recognized. Charlie waved to the camera (look for him on the big screen), and Jane Gray said "play ball!" They received Braves T-shirts and got up close and personal with the Braves GM and mascot, Trusty. They were thrilled!
