The Rutledges invited us over to dinner tonight, and Maggie asked Jane Gray to stay and spend the night. Jane Gray has spent the night out several times, but it has been only at her Nana and Grandpa's or the Hurst girls' house. She was thrilled to be asked, and they stayed up late watching movies, eating candy, and putting on make-up. Rachel thought that Charlie was coming over for a "date," so Charlie gave her some gardenias from our backyard. Don't they make a cute couple? And, Meg and Christy hung out the whole night, shimmying up and down the stairs and chasing the big kids. They were so funny and cute together.
