Pumpkins and firewood

Today, we hit the road for some firewood for Mommy. On the way to Yazoo City, we stopped off at the Montgomerys' deer camp near Canton for pumpkin painting, smores, swinging and visiting. Jane Gray and Charlie were more enthralled by the stray puppy than any of the other activities. After we had our fill of food and fun, we headed to Yazoo for firewood as the first cold snap was upon us. This was a fairly uneventful trip as we were on a mission with little time (had to make it back to Jackson for the Ole Miss/UAB kickoff). We saw a few deer, filled the Tahoe with firewood, explored the woods, and then headed home. Once we made it home, there was Ole Miss football, hamburgers and a roaring fire to end the day.
