We loaded up once again and headed to Louise for a dove hunt -- not exactly with the well wishes of Meg. Jane Gray and Charlie were excited as Liddy, Maggie, Lillian Claire and cousin Jack were going to be there (to Charlie's delight as he had earlier asked if any boys were going to be there). We played host and put everyone in their spots, visited for a while, and finally ended up in our own spot in the hot sun. We soon needed drinks and shade, but were able to later find some doves to retrieve. The kids spent a lot of time in Pop's truck and had a blast. After the hunt, we went to Pop's house where Sherrie had dinner ready for the hungry hunters.

Poor Meg! That hurts my heart! She should have come to play with us, we are way more fun than a dove hunt!
