Christmas Eve at Nana and Grandpa's house

We ate lunch at Nana and Grandpa's house on Christmas Eve. After lunch, Nana and Grandpa introduced a new tradition - the Christmas pickle. The children searched the house for the Christmas pickle, and the winner, Jane Gray, received two dollar bills (the others received one dollar bill). After the hunt, we opened our gifts and then headed to Nana's church, Christ United, for their Christmas Eve service. It is a wonderful service which ends with everyone holding lit candles and singing "Silent Night." It is beautiful and such a foretaste of Heaven!
