Mississippi and other parts of the deep South are experiencing a record flood. Yazoo City has been affected, so Daddy decided we should go see it. We went to Satartia first and saw several flooded homes. The National Guard was there, too. On a one-mile stretch between Satartia and Yazoo City, we saw five deer on the side of the road - they are trying to find higher ground. We also saw many vehicles transporting furniture and appliances out of Delta homes. So many lives have been affected by this flood!
