Meg and some of her ballerina friends went to the Sugar Plum Fairy tea party this afternoon at the art museum. Meg and Anne Melton sat together, each wearing Christmas dresses worn by their mothers and made by their grandmothers - so special! Jane Gray and Meg met several of the Nutcracker ballerinas and got them to sign their Nutcracker posters. We also got pictures with Clara and the Snow Queen. We enjoyed a delicious lunch with cupcakes for dessert and feathered tiaras for party favors. After the tea party, we went to the Nutcracker. This was Meg's first Nutcracker experience, and she loved it! She sat in Nana's lap the whole time and couldn't take her eyes off the dancers! At intermission, she and Rosalie danced in the aisles. Meg can't wait to be in the Nutcracker one day!
