We spent July 4th in Mentone, Alabama, and Chattanooga, Tennessee. The day started with a trip to Rock City. Charlie heard about "Fat Man's Squeeze" and couldn't wait to see if he could fit through the pass. He was so excited when he finally got there, he hit his ear on a rock! The girls loved the swinging bridge (which Mommy hated!) and the gnomes. Fairyland Caverns was a bit hit, too, and the children loved seeing the Three Blind Mice and Three Little Kittens Who Lost Their Mittens (which they dressed as in the Mother Goose parade).
