Our sweet friends, Gray, Emily, and Lillian Claire Montgomery, invited us to their lake house at Lake Bruin. Jerry and Shelley Sheppard and their girls, Kimmons and Nan, also went. We had so much fun on the lake! Charles, Jane Gray, and Charlie went tubing, and Meg and I sunned on the boat. Meg was such a trooper! She had to wear a life jacket while we were on the boat, so she just napped sitting straight up in it. After a fun day on the lake, we "bathed" the kids in a kiddie pool and then had a yummy spaghetti dinner. Before we left, Gray (Jane Gray called him "Mr. Black") gave the kids some beach balls, so the whole way home, the kids were hitting the beach balls back and forth across the back seat to each other. It was a good day!
