Labor Day dove hunt

This year's dove hunt was a huge success because Charlie and Jane Gray each shot their first TWO doves - Charlie with his Daddy's gun and Jane Gray with Stewbaby's!  The doves weren't flying early, so Daddy brought out the skeet for a little target practice.  It took the children a couple of tries, but they smoked those skeet!  Once the doves started flying, Daddy took turns with the children.  Jane Gray shot first and got very frustrated after a couple of shots - those birds just wouldn't go down!  Charlie shot next and killed a dove on his very first shot!  Well, that got Jane Gray's competitive juices going because she killed a dove with her next shot.  Then she got another one, and Charlie got another one, too.  They were so excited!  So were their Daddy and Pop!
