While we were at our tea, the boys hopped an L train to Wrigley Field. They waited on us at a nearby sports bar where they watched college football. When we finally arrived, we all went into the stadium and caught the end of Friday's rain-delayed game and some of the Saturday game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Charlie talked Mommy into buying him a Cubs jersey and cap, and he received a certificate for attending his first Cubs game. It was the highlight of the trip for him!
